Sabrina Schroeder is an attorney at Foster LLP in our Austin office. She has worked primarily in employment-based immigration, with a focus on Eb-1A (extraordinary ability), Eb-1B (outstanding researcher/professor), and NIW (national interest waiver) cases.

Sabrina graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University.
Prior to receiving her law degree, Sabrina worked as a Program Manager for Colleagues International designing and administering exchange programs such as the International Visitor Leadership, Open World and Community Connections programs for the U.S. Department of State and other sponsoring organizations as well as worked as a Graduate College Admissions Officer for Oklahoma State University.
Sabrina is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Why Did You Decide To Become An Immigration Attorney?

- August, 2018 – Volunteer Attorney for CARA Family Detention Project at South Texas Family Residential Center preparing detained women and children for their credible fear interviews as part of the asylum process.
- Summer 2016 – Program Manager/Host of group of Chinese human rights professors/lawyers from the Southwest University of Political Science & Law (SWUPL) in Chongqing, China.
- 2016 – Volunteer with Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative (HILSC) to assist asylum-seeking Central American woman prepare pro se asylum application.
- 2013 – Advocacy Coordinator for Houston Section of American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA).
- October, 2012 – Won affirmative asylum pro bono case for Chinese political writer
- 2011 – Co-Chair of AILA’s Texas Chapter Spring Conference in Oklahoma City, OK.
- 2011, 2013 – Judge for Jessup International Moot Court.
- August to December 2006 – Assisted refugees & asylees with their immigration legal matters at St. Vincent Catholic Charities.
- May to August 2006 – Equal Justice Works’ Summer Corps Participant at Farmworker Legal Services.
